Top 5 Android Business Apps in the US: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the business app landscape on the Android platform in the United States revealed intriguing patterns in terms of downloads and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top five apps in this category.

The Indeed Job Search app maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads consistently over 150K, peaking at about 174K in mid-August. Active users showed minor fluctuations, hovering around 3M, with a peak of approximately 3.05M in early September.

Zoom Workplace demonstrated a strong performance with weekly revenue ranging from $65K to $89K, peaking in late July. Weekly downloads consistently surpassed 110K, reaching a high of about 126K at the end of September. Active users climbed steadily, starting from 1.8M in early July and reaching nearly 2.5M by the end of September.

Microsoft Teams saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 64K and climbing to over 113K by mid-August. Active users grew from approximately 1.97M to 2.47M throughout the quarter, indicating a steady rise in engagement.

For Microsoft Authenticator, downloads exhibited a gradual increase, beginning at 75K and peaking at over 111K in mid-August. Active users also rose significantly, starting at about 4.1M and reaching over 5M by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Amazon Flex experienced varied download numbers, starting at 75K and fluctuating around 60K towards the end of the quarter. However, active users showed a consistent upward trend, growing from approximately 131K to over 266K.
